This is mostly a blog of my MA, which I wrote about 5 years ago and which has been subject to the gnawing critique of the mice since.

It is about pop music and was written while trying to make sense of Walter Benjamin, the Black Atlantic and a perhaps slightly mystical reading of Marx´s use of “species being” through which I tried to explore the notion of the authentic.

Since I´ve never really had any feedback on it I thought I´d open up that possibility.
